Deception

Deception is not always a lie. Often it is a true fragment placed where a whole would have been inconvenient.

It uses speed. It uses flattery. It uses your fear that if you pause to check, you will be the last to know.

The most durable deceptions do not ask you to believe the impossible. They ask you to stop one question early: Who selected this? What is missing? What happens if this is wrong?

If it cannot survive those questions, it was never trying to inform you. It was trying to move you.
